Our outing to Sim's Residence

Yesterday was a day where we get to ASMJS's residence...

In the morning, we drove down to Taka's Cold storage to prepare the ingredients for the sushi dinner... It was fun going grocery shopping with my wife, discussing what to buy and whether to buy... and then it was time to go back for preparation.

Afternoon was a time of cutting, boiling, packing all the ingredients for sushi. Found the secret of doing sushi rice and it tasted nice... also managed to cook tamago, the way Japanese would do their eggs... Mi Mi commented that it was nice and I was pleased...

And in the evening, despite the rain we made it to the Sim's residence on time. We went to visit my grandparents before heading to Bishan. Mi Mi was shocked when I told her that the oil indicator in the car was lighted up, which means, low on petrol... hehehe... being the practical her, she said: " It's raining and I dun want to push the car in the rain." So I decided to pump Shell instead of SPC.

We were greeted with shouts and screams of joy when we arrived. The kids were very excited about our coming. We brought gifts for them, sea shells for Megan and Dino jigsaw puzzles for Joe Joe... The spread for dinner was incredible. Check it out!

After dinner, we had fun with playing with the kids, from painting sea shells, doing up jigsaw puzzles, playing memo games, playing jenga and drawings... Check out Megan's painted hands instead of painted sea shells. She decided to paint her own palm after a while and she painted a smiley face on her palm. Joe Joe on the other hand decided to forfeit himself in the jenga game and sang for everyone. He was so funny... and he had really good memory for the memo games. The adults lost to the kids... :)

The painting of sea shells Megan painting her own hands... :) Joe Joe, the Jenga-dozer in action...

It was a fun evening for us and when we had a good discussion before we slept about ASMJ and also CJJC, the 2 model families in our eyes, God fearing parents, obedient and fun loving children. Thank God for their lives...

God, we are waiting for our children to come... :)
