We are back from church camp...

It was a very eventful trip... lots of things happened and of course the presence of God was so real at the camp, during the times of worship where we had extended worship...

Day 1 - Trevor slept through the plane ride, and we enjoyed our meal and movie on the plane, but when we touched down, he was feverish, and true enough, he was having fever on board the flight... *stressed*

Quickly gave him paracetamol at the BKK airport while we were waiting for a mini bus to drive us to our accomodation... as there were 5 of us and 2 babies, we decided that van may be the easier way as we would have needed 2 cabs...
We only reached our hotel at 12am and by then, the babies were awake... Trevor had fever throughout the night, went up to 39.5 at some point, that I had to give him the stronger medicine and monitor every 2 hours...

Day 2 - Fever was still there but not high anymore, so we decided to venture out according to our plan... and heading back to hotel at 3pm for Trevor's long nap... his fever broke in the day and we were able to buy some stuff that we have set forth to get. The weather was good, cloudy but not raining... We started all together with MH and family, Corin, Roy & family at Platinum, but after which, we went on our own to get the stuff we needed at other places. Met up with B & S at Zen... As planned, we went to back to hotel for Trevor to take his nap and his fever came back... gosh! by dinnertime, we decided to walk to nearby MBK to get dinner with B & S and get some medicine for Trevor, as his paracetamol was running out... Trevor coughed very hard at one point and he dirtied Ivy's clothes completely including his own. changed him immediately there... Now, he had running nose... *stressed* At night, his fever shot up again to 39.6 and I was worried, I must say... did what I did the night before with the stronger med. I kept asking myself, why did I bring Trevor for this trip, to make him suffer? We switched off the air con in the room, as there was no way to adjust the temp, as the thermostat was not working, and apparently, it was the same for B & S's room too...

Day 3 - Our van arrived at 9am and we all went on our way to Cha Am for Church camp... Trevor's fever was still there and he slept most of the time in the van... reached Holiday Inn finally after 3 hours... The hotel looks good, but the beach was not fantastic, no white sandy beach... We managed to get the camp comm to give us our room earlier so that Trevor could rest, and the hotel gave us a wrong room, 2 single beds and no baby cot... immediately, I informed the camp comm and the hotel did a swap immediately to a room with King sized bed and a baby cot... but the room was a much older room, with no view at all and no bath tub... guess we couldn't do much... so we settled for that... I managed to speak to Dr. Choe on Trevor's condition and he recommended me to continue doing what I was doing for Trevor... Later that night, Dr Choe spoke to me again, this time, he said that he felt that it was a distraction from the enemy to prevent us from attending the camp... and told us to do authorative prayer over Trevor... and that was what we did since the 1st night...

to be continued...
