A month on and going on strong

It has been a month plus since Trevor was born and now he is 6 weeks old... WOW! Time flies when time is well spent especially in nurturing a young life that God has entrusted into our hands. Btw, I will not trade anything for the time I can spend with my son... They are priceless... like the MasterCard advert will say...

The day the confinement lady left, was the day that the real test began and I must say God is good. Mi Mi managed to bath Trevor & took care of him all on her own, as I needed to come back to work from Monday. (Why paternity leave is only 2 days in Singapore, in UK, it's 2 weeks). I was actually quite concerned that morning while coming to work, whether she could do it, but I know that God has empowered her to do it and she did it.

Trevor is an easy to care for baby (that's always in our prayer agenda throughout Mi Mi's pregnancy) except for the night time when he would fuss and not want to sleep. We were both quite clueless and I literally snapped one night, coz I just couldn't get him to stop crying and he cried for 3 hours non-stop in the middle of the night and lost his voice subsequently. That night was a night that I hated what I did, but I thanked God for Mi Mi for being strong and took over the role of coaxing him whether I cooled down.

God is never late in answering His children's cry for help. I managed to talk to my colleague Sarah who shared with me how she managed to get her daughter to sleep well at home without fuss...

And last night, it was an awesome night where everyone managed to sleep more than 6 hours, excluding the time of waking up for the night feed. It worked... WOW! I am utterly amazed and really grateful to God for His timely advice through my colleague.

Do you know God can speak to you through your conversations with people around you?
Indeed God is good and His mercies endure forever...

Moo Moo signing out...
