This is my 2nd time attending my Company D&D and this year it was held at the Club Chinois at Orchard Parade Hotel. Moo Moo attended the dinner with me. The event was quite predictable... we had table games, best dressed award, lucky draw and even special performance by a belly dancer.
The highlight of the event to me is the lucky draw. Really, nothing much to look forward to as the food wasn't really to my liking. In fact, my table was specially blessed that evening as most of us receive a prize... and I happen to the last one to receive a prize... Praise the Lord! I received the 3rd prize for the evening much to the anticipation and delight of my supporting colleagues seated at the sme table.
The prize is a Shinco 8.2" portable DVD player.... a novelty which we will not buy but good to have. Actually we are seriously thinking whether to keep it or sell at eBay. Well, maybe can use it to bless people who may need it when they travel... especially those with kids.
